Allergan board rejects $45.6B buyout offer with counsel from Latham

Irvine-based cosmetic drugmaker Allergan Inc. said Monday it formally rebuffed an unsolicited $45.6 billion buyout proposal from competitor Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc.
