Judge tosses challenge to city's ban on fur products

U.S. District Judge George H. King dismissed with prejudice the federal portion of the case brought by retailer Mayfair House Inc., upholding the constitutionality of West Hollywood's fur ban.

A federal judge has tossed a challenge to West Hollywood's unprecedented ban on fur products, ruling the plaintiffs' claims in the case were invalid.


U.S. District Judge George H. King, chief judge of the Central District, dismissed with prejudice the federal portion of the case brought by retailer Mayfair House Inc., upholding the constitutionality of the city's fur ban.
