New Berkeley dean to set global agenda

As JD enrollment falls, school hires the internationally minded Sujit Choudhry.

By choosing as its new dean a comparative constitutional scholar with Indian parents and educated at Toronto and Oxford, UC Berkeley School of Law is trying to refocus internationally in an apparent bid to leapfrog rival Stanford Law School and the Ivy League.
