Howrey estate brings in another $5 million

The estate entered proposed settlements for several unfinished-business claims and reached an agreement with a group of 61 ex-partners over distribution payments.

The Howrey LLP estate entered proposed settlements for several unfinished-business claims against law firms that hired its former partners. It also put forward another potential agreement with a group of 61 ex-partners over distribution payments they received during a period of time when the estate argues the firm was insolvent.
