On April 23, San Francisco City Attorney Dennis Herrera filed two lawsuits against San Francisco property owner, alleging that the defendants had converted their residential properties into short-term tourist lodgings, marketed through short-term rental websites such as Airbnb, Homeway.com and VRBO.com.
