Judge certifies class in 10-year-old overtime suit

A federal judge granted class certification to 200 employees of Chinese Daily News Inc. in a lawsuit in which the workers sued their employer for failure to pay overtime, provide adequate brakes and for an illegal vacation buy-back policy.

LOS ANGELES - A federal judge in California's Central District granted class certification to 200 employees of Chinese Daily News Inc. in a 10-year-old lawsuit in which the workers alleged their employer failed to pay overtime and provide adequate breaks and had an illegal vacation buy-back policy.
