Regulators more active in 2013, survey says

Despite leaner economic times, federal regulators appear to be mounting an increasing number of investigations and actions, according to a number of in-house and outside attorneys involved in such matters.

Despite leaner economic times, regulators from the U.S. Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission and Environmental Protection Agency, among other agencies, appear to be mounting an increasing number of investigations and actions, say a number of in-house and outside attorneys who are involved in such matters.
