Contra Costa Public Defenders Join Workers on Picket Line

MARTINEZ - About 90 deputy public defenders and other court employees went on strike along with 6,000 Contra Costa County workers in a one-day walkout Tuesday, leaving seven managerial employees to keep the day's court business limping along.
