Shell Oil Co. seeks indemnity from co-defendants Dole Food Co.

Shell Oil Corp. wants co-defendants in contamination case to pay more settlement money.

LOS ANGELES — A lawsuit by Shell Oil Company seeking indemnity from Dole Food Co. regarding a previous $90 million settlement with 15,000 plaintiffs residing in a contaminated Carson neighborhood was met with skepticism by a superior court judge Monday.
