Five California cities have reopened litigation against chemical manufacturer Monsanto Co. over water contamination.
Attorneys for Berkeley, Long Beach, Oakland, San Diego and San Jose say a bill signed by Gov. Jerry Brown in September gives them standing — a claim the company disputes.
