9th Circuit upholds California law regulating chicken coops

In the fourth consecutive defeat for opponents of California's laws regulating chicken coops, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday largely upheld the dismissal of a challenge brought by six states claiming the laws discriminate against out-of-state egg farmers.
