Former UC Berkeley School of Law dean drops racial discrimination suit

A second university investigation into Choudhry's hugging, kissing of a former assistant continues.

Two months to the day after filing a federal racial discrimination suit against his employer, Sujit Choudhry — the former dean of UC Berkeley School of Law — dropped his claim.

The move follows U.S. District Court Judge Richard Seeborg's denial of Choudhry's request that a second university investigation into Choudhry's behavior be halted.
