I awoke the morning after the Nov. 8 election wondering how my fellow Americans could vote for a racist, sexist, bigoted candidate who serially lies, disrespects the Constitution and admits to sexually assaulting women with impunity. Then I wondered "what is the appropriate reaction?" If we take our cue from Republicans, or Donald Trump himself, we would deny the legitimacy of President-elect Trump.
