Obama's clemency program will likely end with his term

There is little indication President-elect Donald Trump would continue the program, which has seen 944 convicts released.

More than 4,000 volunteer lawyers around the nation are working to complete petitions under the 2014 federal clemency program that will likely end with the exit of President Barack Obama on Jan. 20.
