Oil drilling case back before original state judge

A cross-complaint regarding a settlement between the city of Los Angeles and environmental nonprofits is back in state court.

A case regarding oil drilling disparities in the city of Los Angeles and an oil producer's contention that it was illegally left out of a settlement is back in state court before its original judge.

U.S. District Judge Otis D. Wright remanded the case to Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Terry Green on Nov. 3 and attorneys were notified last week.
