President-elect Donald J. Trump can make an immediate and lasting imprint on the nation's largest and busiest federal appeals court when he enters the White House in January.
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which has 29 active judgeships, could have as many as four vacancies to fill when Trump is sworn into office.
