This month there will be a few political candidates who, after bitter debates and campaigns, may find themselves needing to either save or restore their public image ? as well as, perhaps, their personal honor. The idea of "image management" is not new in politics, but the idea of "face saving" through mediation is, in my view, an underdeveloped concept that holds great promise.
