DOJ files suit against AT&T alleging collusion

DirecTV allegedly conspired with other cable providers in talks for baseball rights, the DOJ claims.

AT&T Inc. subsidiary DirecTV unlawfully colluded with other cable providers to gain leverage in acquisition talks for the broadcasting rights to Dodgers baseball games, according to a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Department of Justice Wednesday.
