Low business taxes in I-680 Corridor

The 2000 Kosmont Cost of Doing Business Survey-National Online Edition shows that local taxes on the I-680 Corridor are quite low. Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek and Concord all received very low cost ratings. Moderate local business taxes, the absence of most utility taxes and low property taxes add up to an affordable tax environment in this trio of Contra Costa County communities. For developers, their impact fee schedules are matter-of-fact.
