Court Orders Murder Conviction Overturned
The second-degree murder conviction of a man who killed a pedestrian after leading police on a wild chase through the streets of Long Beach must be overturned because eluding officers does not automatically equal an intent to kill, the Court of Appeal in Ventura ruled Tuesday.
