Pillsbury Set to Merge With Winthrop Stimson

San Francisco's Pillsbury Madison & Sutro has agreed to a "merger of equals" with New York-based Winthrop Stimson Putnam & Roberts in an effort to increase the firm's New York and global reach. The merger, which the partnerships must approve, should be complete by the end of the year, when Pillsbury Madison will become Pillsbury Winthrop.
