Injured Dancer Sues State Farm
A brain-injured ballet dancer, who fought State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. for 10 years for a settlement likely to be a mere quarter of her $12 million anticipated lifetime medical costs, has filed a bad faith action with racketeering charges against the nation's largest auto insurer in what could be the first California case based on alleged fraudulent medical "paper reviews."
