Garcetti Wants Gang Suppression Cops Back on Street

Los Angeles County District Attorney Gil Garcetti said Tuesday he would like to see gang suppression police officers back on the street, believing that the recent disbanding of the Los Angeles police department's CRASH units in the wake of the Rampart scandal has contributed to an upswing in gang violence.
