Two Past L.A. Bar Chiefs Take Bench

Gov. Gray Davis on Tuesday appointed two former Los Angeles County Bar presidents to the Superior Court bench. Patricia M. Schnegg, 47, who just completed her one-year term as president of the county bar, and Lee Smalley Edmon, 44, who served as president from 1998- 99, will join another former Los Angeles County Bar president, Laurie D. Zelon, a recent appointment to the bench.
