Civics Class Act

Kenneth A. Rivin hit a career high in May when he obtained a $5 million verdict for his client, Richard Herr, in Richard Herr v. Nestle USA Inc., BC165528 (L.A. Super. Ct., May 24, 2000). Although Rivin says that the age discrimination and constructive discharge lawsuit was "undoubtedly the highest profile case I've ever done," the work itself was nothing new to the Los Angeles sole practitioner who has been litigating and counseling employees for more than 25 years.
