ABA Kicks Off Its Weeklong Annual Meeting

As the American Bar Association opens its weeklong annual meeting in New York today, it has plans for nearly 2,000 programs, seminars and meetings, which are to be held not only in hotel meeting rooms but also in law firms, on Ellis Island and in the United Nations General Assembly Hall. Topics will range from the death penalty to the marriage penalty, from shifting risk to making rain.
