Mycogen Loses $174.9M Verdict Over Enhanced Corn Seed

An appellate court has overturned a record $174.9 million jury award to Mycogen Corp. over the rights to a genetically enhanced corn seed produced by Monsanto Co., finding that Mycogen lost its chance to seek damages when it failed to claim them in the first lawsuit.
