L.A. OKs Settlement In Shooting by Officer

LOS ANGELES - The city of Los Angeles has agreed to pay $433,000 to settle a civil rights claim against an off-duty Los Angeles police officer who shot a Mission Hills man in a dispute over a beer can thrown at the officer's car.
