Medical groups sue surgeon for nonpayment

A pair of Inland Empire medical groups sued the prominent local surgeon who manages them, accusing him and his business partner of refusing to pay them $1.8 million in revenue because they wouldn't let him acquire a 51 percent stake in their operations.
