Delaware Bankruptcy Court judge Mary Walrath on Monday denied a Department of Justice request that a Chapter 11 trustee be appointed to take over control of bankrupt solar-panel manufacturer Solyndra, a DOJ spokesperson confirmed.
Instead, a chief restructuring officer will be appointed to the company. R. Todd Neilson, a director with Emeryville-based Berkeley Research Group, LLC, will fill that role as requested by Solyndra....
