Internet retailers beat back infringement lawsuit

City of Industry-based Newegg Inc. and Utah-based Overstock.com Inc. on Friday defeated the infringement claims of an Alcatel-Lucent SA subsidiary.

Attorneys for City of Industry-based Newegg Inc. and Utah-based Overstock.com Inc. won a patent trial in the Eastern District of Texas on Friday afternoon after a host of other defendants settled with the plaintiff, an Alcatel-Lucent SA subsidiary.
