Heller settlements could bring $1.2 million to creditors

The Heller Ehrman LLP estate has reached settlements with two law firms and a former client that, if approved, will notch nearly $1.2 million for payment to the estate's unsecured creditors.

The Heller Ehrman LLP estate has reached settlements with two law firms and a former client that if approved will notch nearly $1.2 million for payment to the estate's unsecured creditors.


Former client Wham-O Inc., whose products include Hacky Sacks and Frisbees, agreed last week to pay $500,000 to settle claims it breached a 2007 contract under which it owed Heller $2.3 million in legal fees. It...
