Apple tries to block Samsung

The worldwide legal battle between Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. over smart phone and tablet computer patents is set to get a critical test today in San Jose federal court.

The worldwide legal warfare between Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. over smart phone and tablet computer patents is scheduled to get a critical test before a San Jose federal judge today.


Apple is seeking a preliminary injunction blocking U.S. sales of Samsung's consumer technology products, which Apple claims are blatant copies of its popular iPhones and iPads.
