Theater company appeals antitrust decision
Cinemark Theaters Inc. has petitioned the California Supreme Court after a 2nd District appellate panel found in favor of independently owned Flagship Theaters of Palm Desert in its antitrust case against the $2 billion national chain.

LOS ANGELES - A face-off between the $2 billion national cinema chain Cinemark USA Inc. and independently owned Flagship Theaters of Palm Desert LLC could be headed to the state Supreme Court.
