Robert Boochever
Senior Circuit Judge Robert Boochever of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, a former chief justice of the Alaska Supreme Court, died Sunday at his home in Pasadena. He had turned 94 on Oct. 2.

Senior Circuit Judge Robert Boochever of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, a former chief justice of the Alaska Supreme Court, died Sunday at his home in Pasadena. He had turned 94 on Oct. 2.
He died peacefully while asleep in his lounging chair, according to Chief Judge Alex Kozinski. At least one of Boochever's four daughters was visiting him from Alaska, Kozinski said.
