An unfortunate, misleading article

A reader responds to "Sheriff's watchdog has eyes elsewhere," (Oct. 5).

LETTERS TO THE EDITOR COLUMN

To say that I was disappointed in the story "Sheriff's watchdog has eyes elsewhere," (Oct. 5) on Michael Gennaco and the Office of Independent Review (OIR) would be a gross understatement. The OIR called for a serious investigative piece but instead you published a puff piece that glorified an outfit that is, as Peter Eliasberg stated, an outfit whose reviews are a joke.
