An Alameda County Superior Court judge is stepping down from the bench to return to Reed Smith LLP as a partner in the firm's appellate practice.

An Alameda County Superior Court judge is stepping down from the bench to return to Reed Smith LLP as a partner in the firm's appellate practice.
Paul D. Fogel joined Crosby, Heafey, Roach & May's appellate group in 1990 and stayed on as partner when the firm merged with Reed Smith in 2003. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed him to the bench in 2009.
