Senate committee approves San Diego judge
The Senate Judiciary Committee unanimously approved U.S. Magistrate Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo's nomination to the district court bench in San Diego on Thursday.

WASHINGTON - The Senate Judiciary Committee unanimously approved U.S. Magistrate Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo's nomination to the district court bench in San Diego on Thursday.
Bencivengo joins 25 other judicial nominees in the queue for a Senate consideration, including Alameda County Superior Court Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers, a prospective federal judge for the Northern District of California.
