First and foremost, my unenviable past of having been the co-founder of a notorious South Central Los Angeles street gang had rendered me a target for harassment and frame-ups by law enforcement that wanted me off the streets. The second reason can be attributed to my trial and appellate defense attorneys' poor performance in representing me.
