Reliant Indicted in Energy Price Gouging

SAN FRANCISCO - A federal grand jury in San Francisco indicted Houston-based Reliant Energy Services Inc. and four former executives Thursday on charges they drove up California electricity prices in 2000 by shutting down power generation plants to create the false impression of a shortage.
