Book Review - "The Best Awful," Carrie Fisher (Simon & Schuster 2003) - By John Shepard Wiley Jr. - It's a painful thing to watch Princess Leia go mad. It's also instructive. Carrie Fisher got her worldwide fame in "Star Wars" at age 19, and seemed ripe to fulfill her Hollywood heritage as the daughter of Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher. Along the way, though, Fisher picked up the diagnosis of bipolar disorder.
