SANTA BARBARA - Not long after Judge Denise de Bellefeuille took a seat on the Santa Barbara Superior Court, she dreamed that she walked into her courtroom to find a circus complete with animals and acrobats; lawyers were kicked back in the jury box, eating peanuts.
