Judges to Ease Backlog of Criminal Cases
SAN FRANCISCO - Starting immediately, San Francisco's Civic Center courthouse will see more criminal trials. Presiding Judge Donna Hitchens announced the move Friday in an effort to rid the court of a backlog of criminal cases, some of which have been on hold for four years.
