Actress Teaches Attorneys Methods to Win Over Juries

Magic stone, check. Mental image of cascading waterfall, check. Oh, and remember to take a "meaningful pause." The aforementioned checklist sounds more like it belongs to a New Ager than a trial attorney. But in private sessions in her Topanga garage, character actress Jane Marla Robbins says she's teaching lawyers to win over a jury with techniques actors have used for centuries to persuade their audiences.
