'Medical' Marijuana and the Commerce Clause Revisited

Forum Column - By Grover Trask - Screwtape, the elderly retired devil in C.S. Lewis' "The Screwtape Letters," would have appreciated the campaign across the country to legalize marijuana. Although full legalization has not yet been achieved, there is no doubt that the backers of medical-marijuana initiatives in nine states had much more on their minds than alleviating the pain of patients who suffer from catastrophic illnesses.
