Humboldt DA Survives Timber-Financed Recall

SAN FRANCISCO - It's all about landslides in Humboldt County. District Attorney Paul Gallegos began his tenure last year by filing a lawsuit against one of the largest employers in the county, accusing it of lying about landslide data submitted to state officials. Tuesday, he survived a recall heavily financed by that defendant in, appropriately enough, a landslide.
