State Pledges $35 Million to Offset Courts' Shortfall
SAN FRANCISCO - California's top court administrators had $35 million worth of good news for their trial courts Wednesday. Bill Vickrey, executive director of the Administrative Office of the Courts, said the state Finance Department has devised a plan to make up for a $35 million shortfall the courts faced this year.
