After about five years with Hewlett-Packard Co., the company's senior corporate counsel for mergers and acquisitions and commercial transactions jumped from Palo Alto to private practice in Phoenix.
Marcel Valenta became of counsel at Bryan Cave LLP's Phoenix office in June, the firm said. He will be working in the firm's transactions and corporate finance and securities practice groups....
