PacWest Bancorp announced Monday its plan to buy CapitalSource Inc. for $2.3 billion with counsel from Sullivan & Cromwell.
Los Angeles partner Patrick S. Brown is leading the Sullivan team.
New York firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz worked the deal for CapitalSource, with Matthew M. Guest and Edward D. Herlihy taking the lead.
