Rocha Tapped As U.S. Marshal

SAN FRANCISCO - Federico Rocha, a veteran Oakland police officer with a doctorate in public administration, has been nominated by President Bush to fill the job of U.S. marshal in San Francisco.

        Rocha has been serving in the U.S. attorney's office as the primary link between federal law enforcement and local police, sheriffs and district attorneys offices in the Bay Area.
